What to
expect
During the
initial consultation an in-depth case history will be recorded. This involves
looking at health issues, diet, lifestyle and any other relevant factors that
may be affecting your health. It will also include your medical history and
family medical history.
Needling
During the
treatment very fine needles are used to harmonise the energy. For most
insertions a guide tube (a slim polythene tube) is used which when pressed on
the skin with slight pressure enables the needle to be inserted with little
noticeable feeling. When the needle contacts the Qi (Chi) a dull ache or
tingling feeling is often felt which goes off very quickly. A lot of
people find the effects of needling, very relaxing after the initial sensation has passed.
